What we’re about
Using the methods and materials that we do is about more than just tradition, it is our American Heritage. The heritage of American furniture is dying because so little furniture is made in the US anymore. Lampstand Furniture Co. was created to celebrate and revive that heritage by making furniture in the true American Spirit- that means the best product, at an honest price, with American materials. The vastness of American forests meant that the furniture makers of yesterday didn’t have to look overseas for their materials, they simply walked out into the forest. This leads to another aspect of American heritage that we are seeking to preserve- frugality and responsibility. Americans used to be mindful of the resources they used and have respect for using an item to its utmost before being repurposed or recycled, but never thrown away. Lampstand Furniture Co is here to create items that last generations and are worthy of reviving our American heritage.
